Visitors and locals will be thrilled by the upgrade to the Lancelin Lookout which was completed mid-June. Members of the LDCA, in particular Jan Cardy, Andrea Moss and Kathy Thomas were instrumental in progressing the upgrade. On August 4th, 2017 the $246,000,000 Mitchell Freeway extension was officially opened by the Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull, WA Premier Mark McGowan, Member for Pearce Christian Porter, Member for Moore Ian Goodenough and a number of other politicians and dignitaries.
